IPPEX Cloud V 1.37 Release Notes
Introduction
Version 1.37 is a collection of updates and enhancements to a variety of functions.
Option to add pay element groupings to the variance report
A new feature has been added to the variance report enabling the addition of pay element groupings when creating a list output. The variance report kick-off screen has a new option under format, List (with groupings). This will include any the pay element groups in the variance report, pay element subgroup and payment type for post processing pay elements.

Last Pay Period rule change for Organisation Units
When a last pay period is set for an employee, the function performs three tasks, removes the employee from reports in future pay periods (exception all data report and GL report if the employee has values against a pay element in a future period), ends the carry forward of persistent employee details and ends the carry forward of organisation units.
The ending of organisation units has resulted in additional work for the users running GL Journals where an employee has had an after-leaver payment and the last pay period has been set, the organisation units must be re-entered. IPPEX has removed the rule of ending the carry forward of organisation units, ensuring GL Journal contain the right organisation units.
Skip first row(s) from an upload file
When uploading post processing data, many of the data files created from the local payroll software systems have one or a number of descriptive information rows at the beginning of an Excel file ahead of the column header information. A new feature has been added to the pre-processing, post-processing and combined upload to skip a defined number of rows in the file presented to the upload system.

A new ‘skip rows’ listbox will be visible at the bottom of the upload screen, when required enter the number of rows that are to be skipped at the top of the file during upload.
New privileges for the payroll administration user role
As a result of feedback from a variety of users, we understand that several payroll users require the privilege to edit and create organisation units and to amend pay element codes. We have changed the permissions for the user type Payroll Administrator to have the capability to edit and create organisation units and to amend pay element codes.
Addition of Tenancy Owner
Provider organisations typically assign a client to a specific payroll lead in the service organisation. In preparation for the provider portal, which will aggregate operation functions across multiple tenancies, IPPEX has introduced the concept of a tenancy owner. From the Administration menu, open system settings and the settings tab has an option to select the tenancy owner from the drop-down list of system user accounts.
Addition of a password option for sFTP
The IPPEX sFTP service supports a number of functions such as SSH authentication, and now a new feature has been added which supports both password and ssh key simultaneously for sFTP service.
